DJ. Flugvél og Geimskip is a one girl’s project that draws influences from a thousand worlds.

Defined as horror­electronic music with a space twist, the music is a mix of playful beats, cool bass, catchy melodies played on old keyboards along with high pitched vocals. dj. flugvél og geimskip sings in Icelandic about wild cats taking over the world and the weird world below the surface of the ocean.

Nótt á hafsbotni is the third album of dj. flugvél og geimskip having previously released Rokk og róleg lög in 2009 and Glamúr í geimnum in 2013, the latter winning the the Kraumur Music Fund awards. Her single, Glamúr í geimnum, became a hit and the out­of­this­world video she made herself to the song was nominated as the best video at the Icelandic Music Awards 2013.
